Question Good PC, Bad peformance.

So I have been getting about 30-40 FPS in minecraft.
I have a decent PC which people have been telling me I could run minecraft with shaders over 60fps. But even minecraft without shaders doesn't want to go over the 50 FPS. Is there something I am missing? Please tell me if you know anything.

Ryzen 5 2600x (Stock cooler)
RX 580 8GB
240GB SSD
16GB RAM Vengeance 2666mhz
Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H-CF Motherboard

Is Windows up to date? Are your video and motherboard chipset drivers up to date?

What resolution are you gaming at?

whats the brand of your rx 580?
