Have you in fact removed the board from the case, and made any attempt to boot it with absolute minimal connected hardware?

I mean, at this point just on principal I'm leaning way towards it being the board but really you want to eliminate everything else first. But, should be under warranty. Might just want to go that way first but it would suck to send it in only to find out it's something else.
I am having my brother help me with a new board installation on Friday and thankfully my old board is still covered under warranty so it will be going back if the new board solves my problems.

I just thought I’d mention that as it seems strange the problems start once I restart.

I’ll report back when I have the new motherboard in, thanks for your help so far

Do issues only present themselves strictly after restarting or randomly with restarts and startup after a shutdown? I also suspect the motherboard as well. Lots of reading in this case with a bizarre intermittent issue. I will say that its in the realm of possibility that this is a storage device issue or memory issue as well, though the chance is remote. Another thing that comes to mind is how the issues disappear and reappear. This could be due to the thermal expansion and contraction of the different traces in the layers of the motherboard. When a motherboard sits for a while it becomes around ambient air temperature. When you turn the PC on it will cause heat to build in the motherboard causing thermal expansion. I surmise this supposed expansion can be enough with a bad board to cause shorts between different layers of the board causing all kinds of weird issues, but may allow the motherboard to boot okay the first time. This would only be possible with manufacturing defects in the board itself.

Get rid of that Gigablow motherboard!
Makes no sense. Every board manufacturer has a relatively similar percentage of failure on new boards. I have had MANY boards from Gigabyte, ASUS and ASRock, both for myself and for client builds, over the last five to seven years, and failure rates are similar across the board. What ISN'T similar is warranty support. Gigabyte and ASRock FAR exceed ASUS these days. I've left MSI out of it because I haven't bought any of their products for myself or customers since they went full asshat with their shady practices as outlined by GamersNexus back in 2020.

But there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with Gigabyte as a manufacturer. Their products are at least as good as anybody else's, especially in the mid to low-upper sector, and their support is significantly better than ASUS has been for at least the last five years.
