Google deserves to be worth more. They pour a lot of money into their products.
In saying that, Microsoft also puts a lot of money into their products but they also listen to what the consumer wants to see in their products andthey implement the hell out of it.

Microsoft doesn't even give its users a choice to boot to the desktop..

[citation][nom]eternalkp[/nom]I mean google has given us so many FREE things...google search, map, translate, earth, gmail, chrome, drive, youtube, voice, currents, local, vtok, latitude, wallet, shopper.Apple charges for everything. I remember buying a $300 ipod and NO songs came with it.AppleTV, what a joke concept. Why would I buy tv shows?[/citation]

So, two questions for the Google advocate:

1. "Why would I buy tv shows?"... what alternative is there to paying for TV shows? Please be specific.

2. Google has twice been found guilty of violating the privacy of people, and has been investigated by the Department of Justice . They are now also censoring their results of links to sites that are accused of, and / or knowingly violate, intellectual property laws. Are you comfortable with a company who's motto is "Don't be Evil" and they are clearly contradicting those words by their actions?

Dear microsoft: Its all downhill from here. Windows7/Office2010 was your last sucessful product... almost 3 years ago. WP7 = failed (Still good UI IMHO)... don't see WP8 changing anything. And since going Android 4.0, I've not needed to run Launcher7 (WP7 like UI) like I did on my Android 2.3 phone.

Oh, I'm seeing WP7 users going to Android 4.0... not good.

Window 8... I'll be you $10, it will go down in flames.

[citation][nom]master_chen[/nom]FINALLY. THE TIME HAS COMETH...[/citation]
god help us all....google is to big for its britches...this might not be a good thing

[citation][nom]captaincharisma[/nom]if windows 8 turns out to be a flop i can see MS being in the same kind of trouble like RIM is right now[/citation]

If that is the case, it would have happened when they released Vista. Go and search their history. MS is one of the few companies having stable stock price, even at the WFC time. The only time their stock price was higher (I think about 3x of todays price) was during 2000 - 2001 period, like Intel. Other than that their stock price was stable.. And still is..

“The PC hardware business is obviously struggling,” said Martin Pyykkonen, a Wedge Partners analyst to Businessweek. “The transition here is pretty straightforward in terms of where things have moved to and certainly that’s cloud, that’s Web.
Here we go again... *facepalm*

In other news, i think all the anti-Intel speak's brought their stock down in the last month or two...
