Question Google downloads are much faster when downloading multiple files at once

Hi. As the title says when im downloading more files at once it boosts the download speed. I wanted to download a mod for a game, which is 11gb. It said 3 hours and the speed was around 1.2 mb/s. When i started to download a patch for that mod, both went to 20-30 mb/s. And when the smaller file finished, the large file was still going at 30mb/s until the end. Why does this happen? And does it have to do something with the paralell download option in the google setting? Thanks in advance.

Hi. Well im not sure whats it called. After i press download it simply starts downloading with the winrar icon. Its not google drive, mega or torrent. The site is mod DB. It happens with uploadheaven too sometimes.

This is probably just a function of the server, and what they will feed you.

DNS has nothing at all to do with download speed. It only uses it to translate the name of the site to a IP address. Once it gets the IP it uses that directly to download it never talks to the DNS server again until maybe you download something else. You have posted this wrong information before.
