ok I see the changes even thou in my threads they still appear with RED and not Green, as all other solved threads do.

The green is an old thing... posts only get the green tag if a mod actually changes it. The forum software was updated last year and with it, we lost the auto creation of questions and the auto tagging of solved questions.
So the way you tell if a question is solved now is it has a green tick next to it in the forum front page. And the post that was selected as answer will be 2nd post in thread when you look in it.

Yes, I noted these changes to the forums some time ago, You know the way some things worked back in the day seemed like now that that were better, but what do I know I don't use the forums that often, some of the changes must be for the better now.

We would change back to auto questions if we could. But its a combo of things and we can't.

So I made that thread I linked to you but it does rely on question starter to know how it works... which is asking a lot of new people. Its best we can do.

Thank can see the changes to my threads now, anyway I reckon it's not only something that doesn't cross new OP minds but people that have the posted threads topic on their minds as well makes one forget all the procedures to follow whilst try to solve the issue at hand.
