Gotta problem

I have a Lexmark X73 installed on my Windows XP. Now I
have the driver updtated and all, but whenever I turn my
printer on when Windows is already running, it brings up
the printer install wizard. Now I already have it
installed, and it prints fine. Is there a way I can turn
this off? Also, my scanner comes up as incompatible with
my computer, but I can still use it. How can I turn off
these two prompts?
