Wisecracker - you live up to your name ha, ha. I say that in kindness not in a mean-spirited way.

No one disagrees with you that Bush and the Congressional Republicans did not reign in spending under their watch. That is why they got kicked out of office. While you probably do not follow conservative leaders, nearly every conservative leader in the nation spoke out AGAINST the overspending of the Bush presidency when it was occurring. But their spending is not the cause of Obama's spending problems.

However, what you fail to grasp is that the Obama administration and the Democrat's spending is like putting the Bush administration's spending on steroids then giving them an endless supply of speed. No Congress and president have EVER even come close to the spending we have seen under the Democrat controlled Congress with a Democrat president.

A simple review of the Bush yearly budgets in comparison with Obama's budgets is sufficient to back up my point. Obama and the Democrat controlled Congress have put our nation on course to spend more money in four years than ALL of the previous administrations, from Washington on, have spent in the entire history of our nation. This is a staggering statement. The Democrat's spending spree has been absolutely breathtaking in its size and scope.

Everyone agrees that this spending unsustainable - even left leaning economists. Thus we have the rise of the Tea Party and the reaffirmation of conservative principles which have been proven to work.

No one cares what color Obama is and previous referrals to his race by left-leaning people in this thread are in themselves racist. No one but "leftys" have brought up race here. The problem with Obama is not his race, it is that he is incompetent.

Most liberals are kind but mislead people - they are dreamers. They want an environmentally perfect utopia brought to us from a Communistic government where we all stand around singing "kum by ya" (but we can't reference Christianity when we sing it).

I respect that most of the liberal followers want to help others. I don't respect that they want to confiscate other people's money to do it. I have given tens of thousands of dollars to charities to help others, but this was my choice and my money. I do not support forcing others to support the charity of my choice.

If you care about our nation, you may need to reconsider some of your paradigms and join a Tea Party chapter. The problem with most liberals is that they run around with their hands over their ears yelling na, na, na, na whenever someone tries to share the conservative point of view with them. Conversely, I study the liberal point of view as do many conservatives.

I notice the way you never answer a direct question, like, "Are you a Birther, or what?"

Forty-five percent (45%) of our current deficit is due to the Bush Tax Cuts; 35% is due to War, Defense and 'Homeland Security' spending. See the next question:

"Tell us how Bush and the GOP offset spending or increased taxes to maintain the balanced budget dropped into their lap in 2001?"

And guess what, Mr. Wing Nut?

Obama's 10-year deficit projections have always included a funding estimate based upon the statistical future probability of natural disasters somewhere in the range of $200 billion.

Bet you didn't see that coming

Edit: Ooops! I forgot ...

His 10-year deficit projections also include in excess of $600 billion to **fix AMT**

(I'll save you guys the trouble ... never been a part of any Bush/GOP deficit reduction plan 😀 )

I will look it up and will be the first to admit if I was wrong. However, you will be hard pressed to support your larger point that Democrats spend less than Republicans. If you do try support that absurd point you will be quickly discredited. I would invite you to post a link to support your assertion that Clinton's budget was less than the proposed Republican budget.

I remember very clearly the budget debates going on after the GOP took control of Congress. The constant stance of the Democrats was that the Republicans were "cutting school lunches" and wanted "to starve children." They were pounded in the liberal press for wanting to cut PBS. The GOP Congress was without any doubt the force that was reigning in spending during the Clinton years.

I will say this. To Clinton's credit he did "triangulate" and went along with the GOP Congress. This got him elected to a second term and I would agree with you that when he was fenced in by a GOP congress that he did make fairly good economic decisions. But I disagree that he was the source of any sort of fiscal conservatism. Just remember one of his first goals was to nationalize health care - which would cost trillions. It took a GOP Congress to bring fiscal sanity to the Clinton presidency.

But Obama administration incentive spending created seventeen jobs in California's transportation department? Worth every bit of the one hundred and ten million dollar jobs creation policy taxpayer money He and his elitish rubbish policymaking administration have allocated to yet another ingenious taxpayer funded goverment funded agency. The government should increease tax on the corporation who could otherwise open one new retail store and create at least 34 jobs in the Los Angeles community. I'd rather work for tips at a newly opened national restaurant chain site than sit behind a governemt run bloater meaningles transportation agency and do nothing all day. IMHO I would, but we have an idjut in the White House with his rubbish policy that knows better. You young guys watching Clinton News Network and CNN all day forget about understanding this. The brainwashing you are dealing with will take a while to fade away.

I'm sorry but this is an absurd statement that you made:

"And guess what, Mr. Wing Nut?

Honestly, the man is running $1.5 trillion dollar deficits, does anyone really care if his budget allows $200 billion for "statistical natural disasters?" This is just silly.

One other thing, no one in this forum is calling you a "left wing nut." If you have a rational argument make it, but don't call people names.

You're a birther. C'mon. Just admit it. You've got Wing Nut written all over you.

and SURPRISE! I'm not an Obama fan.

I have been addressing Federal budget issues since 1979, even speaking before civic groups and local officials. AND I do not work for the government but I am HIGHLY PISSED that US taxpayers have forked over $8 trillion in interest on the Federal debt since 1980 simply due to VooDoo Economics.

Obama is playing the hand he was dealt, and his budget documents are a breath of fresh air compared to the financial trickery of the Bush White House and GOP Congress.

You are irrational. You claim to be concerned about the budget but you ignore the undeniable facts that Obama and the Democrat controlled Congress have spent more than any other president and Congress in the history of our nation.

You claim to not be an Obama fan, but you sure sound like one. Read your own posts. For you to claim that "Obama is dealing with the hand that was dealt to him," is absurd. No one forced Obama to frivolously spend nearly a trillion dollars on a stimulus program that is a abject failure by any objective standard of measurement.

If you are going to add anything constructive to this discussion you are going to need to support your statements with facts. I think you made a good point on Bush's spending problems - but this is a point that many conservatives have made for years.

The simple fact is that Obama is responsible for his own actions and you (and Mr. Obama) cannot run around like a five-year old yelling "it's Bush's fault, it's bush's fault," all day long. It is long past time for Obama and his followers to stand up and take responsibility for their budgets and their insane over-spending.

I know what he issues is.

I see that all of you have pointed out Acts and policies of past Presidents and Congress.

What I see is a policy that is made, then fails because it can no longer supports the economy. So, people bitch. Then Congress passes a new bill. That one did great, then flopped. People pissed again.

Here we are, arguing over current plans, while the REAL area to study is in history..the failed policies we have implemented that circumvent the issue rather than address it.

I like Obama, but how he has addressed the issue I am not proud of. He failed to enact his promises and failed to do what he needed to do.

What needs to be done is a reset...yes, a reset. This will clear all the crap out of the economic RAM, so the American processor( business) can run the computer much better,( the country.)

Yeah, Obama should be impeached considering his poor judgement and lack of rectitude not to mention his lack of experience or having a clue as to what He is doing as president. You can understand this. He should be recalled like a recently produced Camry. What does a community organizer with two years experience as a U.S. Senator with teachings fresh from Rev Wright's church have to do with being a president? Two years into this administration I will say it is painfully obvious his RAM (policy) needs to be adjusted to remove it from his ass and his CPU (brain) is in bad need of upgrading from the slow, useless Pentium I 100MHz POS it is...

dog, I want to make you realize something important for both you and I. You are a good guy and I appreciate you being here on the forum. Thanks man. But I want to tell you. I was 21 years old when this man was elected president in 1976. The banks pretty much closed down or at least would not give you a loan if begging for one. Unemployment was like 99.5%. No new business start ups. I was a young man and needed a job at 21. It was tough. I was lucky and got my girlfriend a job as a topless dancer. The money she earned provided a roof over our head (and a lot guys who followed her home at night too) and enough liquor to keep us numb to the ever worsening economic situation we faced with this idiot as president. Well, she always wanted to be a topless dancer and I knew a bit about management. We were vicitims of circumstance. Or victims of divine intervention. Not entirely sure, but we made it through the worst economic times since the great depression. But, let me tell you this. Barrack Obama is fifty trillion (he would appreciate the number) times worse than Jimmy Carter's best peace treaty. None of which today are worth the paper they are written on.

gamer you are a polished contributor and forum master on the subject of politics. Your insight is great. I am curious how you came to be so efficient on the subject of political discussion. Like studying (eduaction) or through work. I have had courses in political science, economicss, business administration, accounting and certanly history and sociology. But my course of study in the world of higher academia was psychology. I'm trying to say I do not naturally think in a political sense or frame of mind. By nature, I get inside of people and find what makes them tick. I'm very much a look at yourself before you make a judgement on me type of guy. If that makes any sense. I don't really think in terms of power and how it is achieved. Oh well whatever.

* Looks in mirror* Nope. Don't see it. 😀

The issues is this.

Today, I was talking with a relative. With greed, power, and corruption...there is no time to play games. What will happen is the American people, no matter who you are, will abort all the incumbents. We The People of the United States WILL Form a more perfect union...by voting in guys who will listen to us as a majority. Not to corporations, or the top 1% or any other organization/person(s) who influence us.

This is what I say:

If I were old enough, I would throw my hat into the ring, and bring with me the average American. The American,( you guys) who have specialties and talents that will aid me and the country to prosperity. With more CPU in this server, better computing is ahead.

Like Trump you would stand a chance if you had experience in government. Like say if you were a community organizer with two years experience as a senator who had never worked in the private sector. Of course Trump has charisma and and 2.7 billion in personal wealth. But, heck you ate at the Harvard Bed and Breakfast once and you have the ability to change like a chamelion. Plus you can speak real well about change and hope. What's left of it. You qualify.

I sense we might need some beer, dancing girls and a campfire to sort this out ...

Lets not insult each over ... insult me if feel the need to vent ... I have a thick skin.

One of the things you all fail to realise is that your policies are not ultimately coming from one person either ... you can't attribute success or failure to the president for the past ... most of the decision making is made by the mass consensus of a heap of congress elect and senators ...

You country is not some fascist state ...

:)

You bring the girls and I'll bring the beer ha, ha.

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.
This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children...
This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.

I was so ugly...when I was born the doctor slapped my mother.

I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates me. He said I was being ridiculous, everyone hasn't met me yet.

When I was a kid my parents moved a lot, but I always found them.

A homeless guy came up to me on the street, said he hadn't eaten in four days. I told him, "Man, I wish I had your willpower."

What a childhood I had. My mother never breast-fed me. She said she liked me as a friend

I'm at the age where I want two girls. In case I fall asleep they will have someone to talk to.

My marriage is on the rocks again, yeah, my wife just broke up with her boyfriend

Boy, is my wife stupid! It takes her an hour and a half to watch 60 minutes. My daughter's no bargain either. In public school she was voted most likely to conceive

When my old man wanted sex, my mother would show him a picture of me

Once, somebody stole our car. I asked my wife if she saw who it was. She said, "No, but I did get the license number".

…went to a bar for a few drinks. The bartender asked what I wanted. "Surprise me", I said. So he showed me a naked picture of my wife.

During sex, my girlfriend always wants to talk to me. Just the other night she called me from a hotel.

I could tell that my parents hated me. My bath toys were a toaster and a radio.
I get no respect.

The way my luck is running, if I was a politician I would be honest.

I'm so ugly - my father carries around a picture of the kid who came with his wallet.
