It all started when I received a new PSU but it didn't have enough 8-pin connectors. I replaced the old one and everything works and spins but no display to monitor on either GPU or motherboard.
Note: I was also having random freezing troubles before this.
I've tried checking PSU, replacing RAM, reseating and wiring everything (except CPU). Is my motherboard toast or is there some other problem?

The New ocz 1000w psu should have more cables that you want. Also what excatly do you mean the 8-pin? for the cpu or for the GPU? If you just add the new PSU, then make sure you did connect all the cables to the devices.
