Hello everyone, so a couple of days ago i upgraded my old pc and after checking my temps and stuff in game i noticed that in some games my gpu gets utilized a 100% and i was wondering if its bad for my gpu to run at a 100% usage in the long run.

i got a 2070 super Which i under volted and downclocked A little bit and i customized the fan curve. I did this because before my gpu reached 83 degrees at a 100% and now it reaches max 70.

sorry for my bad english/grammar
Thanks in advance!

Due to mining there has been a fair amount of documentation that establishes a reduced lifespan on cards running at higher temps, max utilization, full time. However that is typically at cards running at the 80c-90c+ range. If you have underclocked into the 70's that is not really a concern. Furthermore miners are running their rigs at max temps all day, everyday. Game loads are rarely for 24 hours at a time, 7 days a week, 364.25 a year. So while any increased thermal load is going to change the lifespan of your card on some small level what you have described won't be significant enough to make much of a difference. That is in contrast with a mining rig running at 90c constantly which would.
