Alright so my motherboard is an asus p5wdg2-ws. When I try to slot my gtx 1050 in the first pci-e slot the ram slots were blocking the gpu. Then i tried the final pci-e slot ,the motherboard heatsink was blocking it. Idk know if its safe to take it out or not but it feels like its the integrated graphics chip since it has a die. Should I take out the heatsink?

Also that is a heat sink for the PCI-E to PCI Bridge, not the on board video. Here is a diagram for your motherboard. So it should be safe to remove.
