[SOLVED] GPU Buying Bot

Hi all

For the past 3-4 months I have been using stock informers to try and buy myself a 3070/3080/3060ti to no avail. I was recently told that you can use open source (and free) bots to set up so they autonomously buy the selected GPU for you as soon as it comes in to stock (probably why I've not managed these past months). I was looking to see if people here thought it was a good idea? The bot I have found on github is this one: https://github.com/philippnormann/nvidia-sniper

I was concerned that it would buy more than 1, how 'safe' it is and whether or not it is, in general, a good idea.

I would suggest patience is your best course of action. In time, these devices will be available through proper means.

Thanks for getting back to me, I will hang tight then. Is hoping I will be able to purchase one within the next 2 months a bit optimistic or realistic?

I would expect to see supplies after the holidays improve. I think it realistic to get something in the next couple of months.
