Question GPU Causing PC to Crash and Restart

Hi guys, recently my pc has been freezing up, crashes then restarts automatically.

- I believe it is GPU related as this occurs either during high gpu usage softwares(gaming) or awhile after closing the application/game. using the pc solely for
internet surfing and zbrush results in no crashes
- Game just suddenly freezes up, the mouse is unresponsive and ctrl+alt+delete does not result in anything. the pc then blacks out and the restarts(bios logo shows up)
no blue screen of death

• there was a day where the pc has varios flickering rainbow artifacts on the screen. It was resolved simply by restarting the pc
• by looking up the event view DTSAPO service always seems to be the error that occurs shortly b4 crashes

also the critical is event ID 41, kernel power.

Any ideas how to resolve/find the problem?? been uninstalling several applications and making simple system changes but doesnt seem to solve anything..
