[SOLVED] GPU Fan Issue

Yesterday my PC began making a clicking sound. After some investigation, I have discovered that this is coming from the fans on my GPU. The GPU has 3 fans, the middle of which is hitting against the right one when it spins. I have no idea how to fix this issue.

I think this may be a result of overheating. Prior to this problem, I had covered my PC with a towel to suppress some noise while I recorded a voiceover. Later, when the clicking began, I looked down to find the towel still over the PC, and the PC itself was hot. Is it possible that the heat bent one of the fans out of place a little bit, causing this collision?

Solution
No its not possible that the heat causes your fans to warp. GPU's can get to 80-90c and throttle back and there will be no possibility of parts warping. I would say they is just a defective gpu and its most likely covered by warranty. If it was me, I would take the gpu out and see how the fans are hitting each other. Could be that one of the bearings fell out of place and can be just pushed straight back in or is misaligned and needs replacement or repair. Either case heat did not cause this issue. I would take far more heat than the computer would allow your to generate to melt or warp parts.
