Question GPU fans spinning but no display ?

I recently bought an RTX 3050 for my PC. Installed it on my pc, installed the drivers and played some games. I played dying light 2 with dlss on and with optimal settings on geforce experience. Played for like an hour then suddenly the screen turned black and monitor says no video input. Tried to tab out of the game, close it to no avail. I rebooted my PC and it did not boot at all, not posts no bios nothing just black and the no signal display from the monitor. I noticed that the RTX logo was also not lighting up but the fans are spinning. However when I plug my old gpu back, the system boots normally as intended. I even tested the RTX 3050 on my sister's PC but it does not boot but boots up with her gpu.
How do i fix this issue?

My pc specs:
Ryzen 5 3600
ASUS TUF B450m gaming plus
Corsair vs550w

New gpu: PALIT RTX 3050 (8pin)
old gpu: Galax Gtx 1060 (6pin)

i thought so. Can i ask though, is it the load that triggered it or what might have caused this crash to happen?
