Hello everybody, I’m at a complete loss. Originally, I wanted to upgrade my prebuilt from 8gb to 16gb and add an ssd 1TB. After installing and minor cleaning I tried to boot and got no power in my keyboard, mouse, and no video signal. After doing a few things and speaking to a few people, I ended up getting a new psu, mobo, processor, and case. After putting everything together, I’m still getting the same result. The gpu fans start but quickly stop but the lights on it stay on and so do the regular fans.
cmos removed a few times, tried seeing if keyboard would get power if it was the only thing connected.
I’m assuming it’s the motherboard but haven’t gotten clear answers yet and want to get some feedback before getting another mobo again.
My current build is:
- i5 8400
- 1050ti
- 500 w
- 1 ssd
- 1tb hard drive
- b360m board
