I’d wait for the reviews of the 3060Ti, not seen anything for an AMD equivalent yet. Have you tried dropping the settings a little and if your can actually see a difference.

In addition, you should upgrade your RAM; running something like RDR2 at those settings with 8 GB of RAM is a bad idea. 16 GB of RAM is what you need.

Your current Graphics Card the GTX 1080 is more than enough to run games at 1080p 60fps, it can even run alot of 1440p.

I think the biggest problem with your system is you dont have enough RAM.

You should buy a 16gb RAM kit 2x8gb, or a 32gb kit 2x16gb

like @wi5pa said upgrading your amount of ram would help some, 8 gb is kinda losing its place as the standard for gaming. that 1080 should perform way better than that. 8gb or 16gb , so look into what the root really is .
