Im looking for a new GPU, My current one is not enough to open MC and i have no experence with low end GPU's.

This is my current MOBO, anyone know what the fastest GPU for PCI-E one is? and would it be worth it with a Pentium D 2.80GHz 2 core CPU?This
Thanks.

Your current power supply specs, budget and what do you want it to do would be needed before we can make good suggestions.
Your motherboard would take A GTX590, ATI7990 or GeForce Titan ,but they are all around $1000 and would be severely hampered by your CPU.
And with that old of a machine your power supply probably would not cope with either of them also.
So a little more information is needed from you to get a good suggestion.

MC= Media Center?

I'd go out on a limb, without knowing your PSU and the rest of your specs, but I'd suspect a 7850 or GTX 660 would work (assuming you have at least 1 x PCI-e power connector (6 pin)). Otherwise you would be relegated to 7750 or GTX 640.

MC= Minecraft. My 350w psu has no 6pin so i guess ill go with 7750 or 640. What one is better?
On another note, should i just start my new build and get the GPU latter, running on i5's onboard GPU for a month or 2? or just update this alittle?

Even with a crappy netburst era pentium d and a aging psu your best bet is going Nvidia unless you can find a pci-e 2.0 Radeon. The problem can easily be the board if it has a 9xx series intel chipset as pci-e 2.1 cards often do not boot on such boards. I am my self learning about this due to one of my recent projects. If you can do look for a pci-e 2.0 Geforce or Radeon that is the most modern as possible but low end enough to be a decent fit for your older system. Cards like the 7750 should be considered with caution but Nvidia is usually only 2.0 or 3.0 not 2.1 ect. GTX650 will work but avoid pos cards like the 640.

Well it's up to you. If you had a budget for a new build, what would it be?

Here is an example of a pretty decent budget build:

Obviously we can change parts depending on your budget, if you have one in this range.

Im going to build an i 5/670 soon, but i can't afford it for a few months. I can shell lout 120 for a GPU until then.
