I have an older tower that I use for just playing music and old emulator games on and someone gave me a this Nvidia 9500gt GPU , yeah, yeah it's old as crap, I know, but I don't need fancy graphics on this thing). Here's my problem:
When I install the card, power on, the hdwr wiazrd pops up and it automatically installs the driver and recognizes the card. It says I have to reboot, and when I do, the GPU has some sort of error booting up. Does this mean the card is bad? When I uninstall the Generic and try to install the driver from nvidia's site, it says it cannot find any nvidia compatible devices? I'm just confused, because it shows up in my DevMgr.
