Hi All,
So I installed a GPU earlier this week, brand new Radeon 570 4GB Asus Aourus variant. First night worked extremely well, no trouble at all and performed as expected. The next morning I went to install some more applications and found myself staring at a black screen. For some reason it just stopped displaying anything even though I haven't changed anything since that night. The PC is relatively new (maybe 6 or 7 odd weeks?), built with a Ryzen 5 2400g, Gigabyte b450m ds3h, Aerocool Rave 800w PSU. All the drivers were installed and I had disabled the integrated graphics. Confused, I went online to search for information. I have tried multiple methods to solve this, one post advised me to go into safe mode and change a few things from there, I have reset my bios to default settings and have even opted to go for a full windows reset. Unfortunately none of these have worked. I sort of left it for a few days as I had a handful of assignments, but now it is my only break for quite some time and I just wanted to get it working. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Really driving me nuts and I can't figure out what has gone wrong. Again, the first night it was running really well. I turned it off and the next morning it wasn't. Hadn't touched a single thing between then.
Edit: The second PCI-E slot also cannot be used as a lot of the mobo connections will be blocked by the GPU.
