So last year I bought a radeon r9 270x, it arrived it worked fine for the first day or two then, While gaming my monitors would go black and pop up with the "Lost signal" thing floating around the monitor and I would hear a buzzing in my headphones but the computer did not turn off.

I thought maybe the card was loose,
So I tightened made sure all the wires were in securely and made everything was snugg the problem still happened I tried different drivers and still nothing "Maybe I used wrong drivers or drivers that were not fully functional" so I took it out sent it back as an RMA, but since I did not have the same box it came in with the code numbers on it they refused to give me my money back..and sent the card back to me, and its been about 6 months since I last touched it.

was wondering is there anything I did not try that could be the problem?

I'm pretty sure its a bad card but just incase I would like to try it with some of your solutions to see if I could maybe get it working or should I just get rid of it?. Still kinda sad that I spent that ammount of money on something I never fixed or was Broken.

Don't got a Another PC the Power supply brand I got is pretty good though I don't think its the problem.

heres the power supply I got.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013

and I forgot to mention I checked the temp of it while in game and It stayed at a steady temp I don't remember the temp but I dont think it was overheating and I'm pretty sure the Power supply is not the problem :/ I've been using the same power supply since I ordered the card and have had no problems with it

I also had the card artifact But I think I only seen it happen once.. so thats why Im thinking the cards junk the screen flipped out with like different colors Stretching across the screen don't know if that could be another problem or just the gpu being faulty

if it still under a year and you have the denial letter from the vendor have you tried resending the card back in on the right serial number on the card. most vendors just want the card and not the box. if you have the anti static bag you can still do an rma. to the card vendor most gpu have more then a one year warranty on them.

Its refurbished I sent it back in the anti Static bag in a Different box and they said They found no serial Number on the box , and that they could not refund me because of that reason. and I sure as hell ain't paying another 15 dollars for shipping to get it sent back to me so I was also Pissed off about that.

if the card is a refurbed unit there should be a serial label on the card itself. your lucky if you have the old rma number you can show the vendor you sent the card into them before the warranty expired and they refused the card.
what you want to do and it going to take a cool head and a nice voice is call the vendor back and when you get a level one phone person ask for a warranty return manager or a customer support manager as you have an issue a level one tech support cant fix. if the next person you get tries the run around ask for the vp or presitent of the comapny phone and email info and send a email and call them. also a lot of customer support rep read there facebook pages. post a help me posting there and on there web page. if they wont help the last line for you is if you used a credit card is file a charge back. they send you a letter to do this. also amazon also tries to help when people get shafted from vendors not giving out warranty service. the last line is small claims. as long as you have prof of buying the card and the sales sheet and card serial info lines up. you can sue the vendor for not replacing the card under warranty.
