GPU not detected

I recently bought msi r9 280 and raidmax rx730z (730w) to power it. I connect all the wires but my computer is not detecting the gpu. The computer boots up like normal and runs the integrated chip instead of gpu. I tried installing drivers via cd but there was nothing to click under the driver option. I installed drivers using the amd website but it still doesn't work. The fans on the gpu are working.

I have ga-m68mt-s2 mobo and amd fx4100 CPU.

Lol, i think u plug the the vga on the motherboard ports instead the gpu.

It also happens when my first time build pc
The fans not working? make sure the power cable from psu to ur vga is connected properly

Also, check your bios and make sure that the dedicated graphics are set to PCI-e, which it probably isn't now since it's sendig display throught the vga on the mobo 😉
