Question GPU not working after installing additional sticks of ram

After I installed 2 additional sticks of ram of a different model my 1080 GTX won't function and blinks white. This is the second time I have tried installing these ram sticks with the same result. If I take out the new sticks it works just fine. I am not sure if this is a power supply issue or something entirely different. I love you all.

Have you confirmed the 2 sticks of memory is compatible? Is this new memory, or known good memory from another system? More information on what type of memory, brand, size / speed will help.
