[SOLVED] GPU or CPU upgrade?

Hi,

I predominately use my pc for animation building which I have noticed starts to become less responsive and lags when finer details are added to scenes. I also play the odd game and occasionally stream. What should I upgrade to improve performance based on this spec;

Motherboard - MSI B450M gaming plus
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
GPU - Nvidia geforce 1060 GTX
PSU - Corsair VS550
Ram- Corsair vengeance 2x8GB
HDD - 1TB WD Blue
SDD - A400 Kingston 240GB & Crucial 480GB

I automatically presume it’s the CPU or GPU but if you have other recommendations I would really appreciate it.

The GPU and that will require a better PSU.
The RTX 2070 will pair well for 1440p. If you are playing at 1080p then it’s a waste of money.
