Question Gpu output not working, Gpu not showing in device manager.

Computer crashed when playing a game and when I rebooted the gpu was no longer sending a signal to the monitor, I switched to onboard graphics and found the gpu was not showing in task manager or device manager. I've tried uninstalling drivers as well as removing the gpu and moving it to a different port on the motherboard. The gpu is definitely functioning as I can see it's fan spinning. I've also tried removing one stick of ram and rebooting but that hasnt helped. I've tried a combination of cables and can confidently say that the cables are not the issue. I'm really at a loss here and would appreciate any and all help.

PSU is a EVGA 500W
I don't have another pc I can test the GPU on

and now when I attempt to update my graphics cards drivers the installer shows as checking the system settings then it just crashes, any further help?

sound like one of the low end model. test with a better psu
