GPU overclock to green screen, CANNOT FIX.

So, I was overclocking my GPU with MSI Afterburner and I set the memory clock too high causing it to green screen, I restarted my computer and after several attempts I cannot get back into afterburner quick enough to undo my error as it green screens within seconds of loading my desktop. Is there a way to underclock or restore factory settings on my card from BIOS or by other means than having to go to my desktop?

Try booting up in safemode. You should be able to use the PC. Lower the OC. Or remove MSI Afterburner from startup list.

yup safe mode



also the benefits of overclocking video memory are never worth it, when you could be increasing core speed which actually matters

What ended up working for me was going into my BIOS and resetting defaults for all my clocks, thanks for the answers anyway guys!

I am experiencing the same problem but i cant fix it plz help
