GPU Problem? Patterns or lines, frozen

Above is an example, but I've had this issue of my computer display randomly displaying this or a similar pattern or solid color, and essentially freezing. Could it be the psu?

Card is an r9 270x, and it's happened on two different setups. Only issue I could think was either bad card, or psu. PSU I used was http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182278. Thoughts?

Is the GPU overheating? Was the card used? To me it might be your psu.

It doesn't happen all the time, only on random occasions. I could just be watching a video on YouTube and it would happen, usually my gaming was fine. Card i bought new, and temps seem to be fine

Did you install the card correct? Try repeating the installation. Also make sure you get the correct drivers.

Right drivers, and it's been installed two seperate times. I'll try getting a new psu for it, see if that works. (My own computer is running two gtx 970s and I'm loving those, just hoping to figure this one out instead of getting a new card for it as well..)
