[SOLVED] GPU Replacement/Upgrade Help

So, brief explanation is im currently saving for a PC, but at the same time while saving the money to buy said PC, my current rigs GPU has died, so I thought if I replace that now, I can just use that in the new rig and save up to buy the rest when I can,

Having done some research I have seen a few horror stories concerning the 5600XT Red Dragon, so does anyone know if this has had a bios update and has fixxed the fans/overheating issues?

Never used an AMD GPU so any advice is appriciated

Asus Z97-P Mobo
EVGA GTX950 SC (dead card)

you have a very old cpu and this could be a problem buying a new gpu which could be wasted.
you should look for an used card to have something immediate and save something .
the good card you should buy it when you have the new build

Yeah I know the CPU is showing its age, but I will have the build up and running by end August/Mid Sept - so thats why I thought just buy the card now as I can afford it, and use that for 3 months
