GPU Size Question

Are the back parts (i dont know what they are called) a universal size? i dont know it this GU (r9 270x) will fit inside my case.

Yes, those and low-profile (half-height) are standard sized.

That card probably comes in both sizes. If it has three outputs in line, like the Displayport, HDMI, and DVI ports on the image you linked, then it's a full-height card.
