gpu sli crossfire

Hey guys i was wondering can i have 2 GPU plugged in without a SLI-Crossfire?

for example like if i had 2 4gb gpu would i be able to use them in games so it will = 8gb?

and also will a Intel Core i3 7100 work with a ASRock B250 Gaming K4 Motherboard

Even in an SLI/Crossfire configuration, the RAM does not stack. A 4GB card plus a 4GB card gives you 4GB of VRAM available.

The i3 7100 is supported on that board. SLI(Nvidia cards) however is not supported, only Crossfire(AMD cards). As Wolfshadw said VRAM doesn't stack in SLI or Crossfire.
