GPU Smells burnt

My Galax 1060 6gb smells burnt.

My processor before was g4600 only (default video settings).

I bought new i5 7500, then I started to put the game settings to high / ultra settings.
In CS:GO, I experience most of the time, stutters and fps drops 🙁 , in Tom's Clancy:GhostRecon Wildlands

That's where it started the smell of burning wires?

I thought it was the psu, so I bought a new one(seasonic 620w evo), still, smell is still there, the gpu also reaches 70* ( in Galax website it should be 65* only)

Scary that something might explode or spark and can affect the other components, so

I've sent the gpu for rma, will they replace it or not?

They may replace it or not. If it is still working otherwise, it will depend upon if they find any portion of the board burned out.

It's still working but those events happened(fps drops, stutters when in crossfire and burnt smell) made me decided to have it have rma. Now I'm using only the intel hd 630 🙁, feels like 10 years behind... the person in-charge in the store said it will take 3-4 weeks.. sad!
