Question GPU temp reaches 90°C at 66% usage, not even 100% ?

Hi All,

I have a Gigabyte Eagle OC RTX 3060 Ti GPU which ideally stays at 44°C but when under load it goes to 92-93°C and the load is only Valorant with FPS set to unlimited. When I limit the FPS to around 240 it stays at 64°C and when I increase the FPS limit to 250 or 260 its goes bonkers. If I play any heavy graphics game the GPU usage is only 66% but the temperature is 91°C.

Now I have tried to limit the FPS on other games which didn't help, even lowering the graphics was not helpful as within 30 minutes the graphics card will reach 89 - 90 °C. Repasting done, airflow checked, other components are cool and even the graphic card acts normal at a limited FPS in games.
I'm not sure if its a software problem or the graphics card itself?

Could be the fan itself start to get wear and tear effect. Try looking closely at your fan when the gpu under heavy loads. Or you can play around with the fan speed control and see how the fan behaves.
GPU is new enough like 1.5 years old, fans are new and look fine but I'll keep an eye on it.
