Gpu temp spiked out of nowhere and I don't know why

My gpu is an rtx 2070 and I set it to be cooled by a Corsair water cooling unit. Up until recently, I've had gpu temps in the 20s-30s when running chrome. A few days ago, it started running at 60-70 and just keeps going up. I haven't changed anything in between now and then, so I have no idea why this is happening. Can anyone help?

This is a custom water cooling setup? The most likely culprits would be a water pump failure or the cold plate is no longer mounted properly.
