i am using a GTX960 4G with an MSI B85 MOBO and i cant seem to get my motherboard to recognize that there is even a graphics card in the motherboard. the system was working fine until just last night. please help, this is my first build and i've been trying to work this out for hours.

Solution
Try the GPU in other pcie slot, if the pc still does not display anything, try the pgu in other pc to make sure it works or not, if the gpu works in other PC, and your MB is DOA, if the gpu does not work in other PC too, the GPU has problem. Or go to local pc shop to test the GPU if you don't have other PC.
Yea the computer can display off the IGPU and all fans spin when the system is turned on, this includes the GPU fans and lights. it seems that my GPU is getting power when plugged into the PCI.e 3.0 slot even though the 8 Pin power connector isn't even connected but it doesn't seem to be listed in the bios. The motherboard layout doesnt even show that anything is connected.

Im having the same problem with my asus v rampage extreme... when i go into the bios>gpu configuration then i see all the pcie slots, and my fury x is not listed either..

It used to show up in there, but it isn't anymore..

I have posted this issue on the rog forums aswell and someone said i shouldnt be worried about.. I'd like to still see it in my bios nevertheless.
