I have a 4 GB GTX 760 Zotac’s AMP Edition card running with i7 4770 and 16GB RAM. I know my GPU & CPU both are old. The i7 4770 gets everything done though. I don't know how I can still play most of today’s games without any lags? If I ever experience frame drops, all I have to do is just overclock my card to a stable point and things work fine.
My current stable overclock readings: GPU: 1230 MHz, Boost: 1295 MHz, Memory: 1560 MHz.
Also I don't face any issue while working in 3D applications whether its 3ds Max, Maya, Substance Painter or any other and my 3D renders are coming out as they should without any problem. Now with Nvidia showing off its 10xx series...Should I still consider a GPU upgrade?
Also the cooling solutions are well placed (all air based), Air flows are good, fans are doing a great job with regular dust cleaning. And my primary display is Dell S2240L Full HD. Please advice.
