Hello, I need help picking a cheap graphics card that will run World of Warcraft and perhaps Source games at low settings with decent-good fps. Please try to keep it as cheap as possible while meeting my given requirements.
Here are my specs.
HP pavillion Model A6400F(KJ379AA)
Processor Intel Pentium dual-core E2200(2.2GHz)
Memory 3GB DDR2 800
Hard Drive 500GB SATA 7200RPM
250W Power Supply
Optical Drive 1 SuperMulti DVD Burner with LightScribe Technology
Graphics Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 128MB
Vista Home Premium
Motherboard Chipset Intel G33 LGA 775
Memory 3GB DDR2 800 DIMM 240-pin 1GB x 2 & 512MB x 2
Memory Slots (Available/Total) 0/4
Maximum Memory Supported 8GB
PCI Slots (Available/Total) (0/1) PCI slot
(1/1) PCI-E x16 slot
(2/2) PCI-E x1 slots
Monitor resolution is 1366 x 768.
I understand I'll likely have to upgrade the 250W PSU as well. I'll only be using this computer while I save enough money to build myself a proper gaming rig.
I live in the USA and I'd prefer if the parts are from newegg.com.
I'm pretty clueless when it comes to hardware, so I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks.
