Hey,

I have a lenovo H430 dekstop. Here are the specs:

PSU: Upgraded to Corsair CX430
Motherboard: Lenovo Mahobay
CPU: Intel i5-2320 3.00GHz
RAM: 8gb DDR3

Is it possible to upgrade to a EVGA Geforce GTX 1030 SC?

Thank You!

Yes, you should be able to do that. But double check your MB bios to see it is the newer one or not, because the PC will need the newer BIOS for the new hardware. But recommend to try use the PC with gtx1030 sc first, if the PC has problem compatibility problem with gtx1030 sc, then update the BIOS.

Also check the link ( from NVIDIA support) in case you have problem for use the non-OEM GPU. http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3156/~/when-installing-an-after-market-graphics-card-into-a-certified-windows-8-pc
