gpu upgrade needed or not

my specs: i5 4690k 4.2ghz
r9 280x
asus maximus vii hero
cooler master g750m

i am planning to buy an ultrawide monitor lg34um65
shud i upgrade my gpu ?
i dont know if all games are going to support that resolution or not but here's the list of games i want to play on it:
battlefield 4,nfs rivals,far cry 4,dirt 3,assassin's creed series,batman arkham series,grid autosports,watch dogs,nba2k15

I think your graphics card is good enough for that resolution. You could eventually sell your R9 280X and replace it with a GTX 970 in the future. Are those the PC Specs you have or planning to buy?

one gtx 970 will be enough?
and if i plan to get two ...can i use the same psu or ll need to change that
