GPU upgrade question mark?

Good evening all, and to all a fair evening or something.

Long story short;
--Same game--
previous GPU: GTX650Ti (FPS: around 70+)
current GPU: MSI N760 TF (FPS: around 50-70)

I have a question for everyone in the GPU field really quick. I can't really goooooogle this answer per-say because It's a bit specific so I've come to the one place I know I might be able to get an answer. So I started my first build with a GTX 650ti and ran a game I play all the time (Smite which isn't graphically demanding as far as I can tell) getting around 70-80 fps. Recently I upgraded to the MSI N760 TF, while playing the same game I'm struggling to maintain 60-70. Do I have a faulty card? Wazzap with this?

You should erase and replace all the drivers;am assuming you did this.
Did you re install the game? When you install a game it looks at your system and sets itself up according to your hardware. Well, many games do anyway.
I would un install the game,keep any save points and re install it.
If you have done this already you might want to try windows trouble shooter in control panel.

I have not done this yet. It could be one of those weird finicky games that almost no one can run with top tier graphics, or it could be an issue of support. But I'll do what all you've put here, thanks for the possible solution man!
