Question GPU USAGE Low No CPU Bottleneck!

I have a Ryzen 3 1200 and GTX 1050 I’m playing CSGO and I notice that my gpu usage is around 40-50% with my CPU around 60-70% I do not know what’s going on any reply’s would be huge!

I have tried -Reinstalling Windows-Clearing CMOS- Prefer Maximum Preformance- High Preformance in Windows- I’m just stressed out please help guys/girls

What resolution? What settings? What kind of framerates are you seeing?

Do you have your FPS capped? If so, when a GPU is able to push out the required frames, it's not going to do anymore - hence utilization will cap out too.

1920x1080 All On Low settings because that’s how I like to play CSGO and it only gets like 100-130fps when I know it can go higher!! Another strange thing I have noticed is on MSU afterburner it goes above the gpu clock speed higher then it can go!

Nothing you have described sounds out of the ordinary to me. The GPU usage sounds about right, your playing on all low settings on a game that isn't very GPU intensive in the first place. My 1080 sits at about 40% usage on max settings.

Your processor will be the reason you can't get the performance you want.

Also, the GPU clock going higher than what you can see in afterburner will be GPU Boost. As long as the card is within safe temp limits etc, it will boost its own core clock to maximize performance. The best way to see this is to have an overlay on displaying your GPU clock speed. When you first start gaming you'll see the clock speed is high, and as the GPU heats up that clock speed will drop off until you hit your usual GPU temp.

Obviously this also depends on GPU load, if your GPU isn't being utilized fully it won't boost the clock speed as high as it would if it was pegged at 99% usage!

As I said, its normal for it to boost higher than what you see in afterburner. What is the clock speed boosting to?

Total cpu usage is fairly meaningless, you need to monitor each core. It only takes 1 core at 100% to limit performance. Add to this you are using slow RAM on a Ryzen setup you are reducing the potential performance by a significant amount compared to say 3000mhz.

Perfectly fine, that is just GPU Boost doing its job.

I can see online the clocks for your card are listed as follows:
Boost: 1531 MHz/ Base: 1417 MHz in OC Mode
Boost: 1506 MHz/ Base: 1392 MHz in Gaming

Your card will always go higher than the listed clock speeds where possible, for example my Gigabyte G1 Gaming 1080 is listed as follows:
Boost: 1860 MHz / Base: 1721 MHz in OC mode

However when gaming the card sits at around 2000MHz.
