GPU vs CPU

I currently have a GeForce GTX 780 and an i5-2400. I know they both need to be upgraded but I only have the cash for one. Does either of those still have a little life left if I upgrade the other component? They’re both at about 100% while gaming haha.

I think the CPU has more life left that the GPU.
I think you could go with a GTX1060 with that CPU and they would work well.

The CPU still has life in it.

My Older PC had a i7 2600 and a RX 580 and it ran great.
