Whoops, I was just about to respond to you but a PM interupted my focus.
(when in Multimedia Computer class, I look like the smartest whiz that could have invented the PC, but when I come here, I'm like the guy everyone can pick on for bad info!)
Hey the same applies to me in Computer Science class & all the computer classes that I've taken. I wanted to take Computer Programming course for basic Java Scripting, but I got booted out of the course the first day of class because I didn't meet the prerquisites of having "Computer Literacy" course.
😡 !! I'm like thinkin' WTF, the people in the class on the first day were saying things to me like, "You should be teaching the course. (which I don't agree with them because my "programming" experience is basically limited to a couple simple QBASIC math programs that could calculate the area of a a square or a circle & a little bit of messing around with HTML which I haven't looked at in a couple years & most of which I accomplished with the help of my dad.) But that's beside the point, I think I could have handled the course, but no matter what I did, I couldn't convince the teacher to let me take the programming course :frown: . So far, in Computer Literacy, I haven't really learned much that I haven't been exposed to yet.
Oh & on the last test there was a question that read something like "Which is true about Laptops"? I answered the E - none of the above, but the correct answer was something like "Notebook computers have just as much computing power as Desktop PCs" And I'm like Yeah, they're CLOSE in today's terms but there are still some gaps in the technology like Hard Drives on these babies only operating at 4600 RPM & the best Graphics Cards available for laptops is a Mobility Radeon 9600 (I don't even think its a "Pro" is it?)
Oh & GW, could you pardon me this time for getting off topic?
My OS features preemptive multitasking, a fully interactive command line, & support for 640K of RAM!
