I have Nvidia rtx 3080, fans cycle normally for a while but at some point, they fail to cycle on. laptop heats to a point where system crashes. eventually I will totally destroy this laptop. Is there a way to ensure fans will cycle properly?

you hit 90° and certain applications crash, etc..?

have you tried inserting manual fan speed profiles and they just won't follow your specified curves?
