I think the problem here is you bottom feeders in the jean pool of life haven't a clue what was typed in the post so as all morons do they get nasty and type [-peep-] up because they don't know how to have an intelligent conversation.

I hope you're right, because I just coughed up $428 for the 5950. ATI, been there, done that. Besides, I don't want to support those Canandian bastards anyway, thanks for all the help in Iraq, NOT! God Bless America!

Bottom feeders? Me and my cousin, I mean, my wife resent that remark!
Hey, if you can't flame a total stranger in a forum, what fun is it?
Seriously though, can't we all get along?

OK here is a thought!! I am a Canadian Basterd and I use Nvidia products not because I hate ATI but simply because I have seen both plants and ATI is a very nice plant and from what I saw a great working environment one of the best.

But I have also seen some of the contractors plants that build the Nvidia product and state of the art is an understatement.

ATI does most of their own work but Nvidia does contract most work out so you need to LOOK at the card and who made it to get the best type of that card. ASUS, NVIDIA and XFX all make GeForce cards and are very good at it. There are other manufactures that also make those Geforce cards but I have not been to those manufactures plants.

P.S please leave a message I am going off to play Day Of Defeat for the next 6 hours so I can kick all the bloody hackers out I mean BAN their WON id numbers.

That insulting ad in the top left of Tom's hardware guide pisses me off because WE WILL TELL IF YOU CHEAT AND WE WILL KICK YOUR HACKING ASS OF THE SERVER WE PAY FOR.... sorry for shouting I feel better 😉

That was kinda an attack on SoD...not you at all.

You gave incorrect info and I said you were acting like him. (just you did it intentionally)

You were mimicking him in otherwords.

Damn Rambus.

Add a FX58000 even nicer numbers in some area!!!
WOW DDRII @ 1ghz ram it must be fasssssst\
at least on paper =)

Oh, I thought you were talking about raw performance...I agree that it's great for value/noise (especially in its performance category).

Damn Rambus.

Captain Bullsh!t says, "Thank you SoDNighthawk! Without you the depth of bullsh!t on this board wouldn't be adaquete for me to survive!"

In fact.. ..ATI 9800 anything is a Model T ford compaired to the Geforce 5950. By the numbers.
By who's numbers? Hopefully not yours because it appears you can't count;

"<i>Rendering Pixel pipelines. 16</i>"

4x2 = <A HREF="http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/20031023/nvidia-nv38-nv36-02.html" target="_new">8 pixel pipelines</A>, not 16. And considering that often they run 4x1 depending on the app, I would say ATI has the advnatage there.

And the final numbers are performance, and there the FX5950 straps what appear to be monster specs, to terrible performance. Whereas the ATI has lower specs but equal or better performance.

Graphics by the numbers? No sounds like drivel by the dozen.

Specs don't impress, final performance does, or else everyone would be buying XGI cards, since the SPECs are VERY impressive. The reality however is much different.

Also I guess the Parhelia is a far superior card by the numbers since it has a 512 bit core, has 3 ramdacs, and can support 3 displays. Awesome! Guess it wins the numbers game.
Now let's play a Shell Game!
