Bought this Pre-built one for work and now I wanna work and play idk if a workstation can be used for gaming - games like RDR2 and The last of us and future games -want to buy a gpu for it, because the pre built one I got was Nvidia T1000 , I wanna upgrade to 4060ti 16gb not in a rush waiting for black friday or cyber monday deals, some people are saying buy a 3060ti 8gb, but idk if that's good for future games that might require more VRAM
I also don't have limited knowledge on AMD ones so might consider them

Also 4060ti 16gbs on PCIe 3 x16 would I notice the performance reduction?

Probably stupid but I want to game and work so idk if should or just save for a gaming PC
I only need 1080p I'm a casual gamer

Specs I got right now

12th gen I9-12900
32gb ddr5
Gpu - nvidia t1000 (as mentioned above trying to upgrade to 4060ti 16gb depending on deals and sale)
1 intake and 1 exhaust case (can't fit more fans sucks, is this even enough air flow?)

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

The specs page for your prebuilt shows a 500W and a 750W variant, which one do you have?

If I were you and you had the higher wattage unit, then I'd pick the RTX4060Ti.

Just as precursor to your prebuilt, if you end up taking the innards onto another chassis, you've already gotten a foot through the door for a new build, one that's tailored to your needs as opposed to shoehorning parts into a prebuilt chassis with limited options.
