Graphics card broke

Hey I am trying to play far cry 4 atm but my external gpu has failed. I cannot play the game at all because it lags real bad. I am using the intergraded gpu on the motherboard. Doe the display adapter is Microsoft basic display adapter. Anybody have a solution to enable me to play many thanks. Details of system info are listed below.


Cpu intel i5 6500
Mobo asus pro gaming
Gpu that failed asus gtx 750ti
Ram 8gb
Cooler be quiet dark rock pro 3
Windows os win 10

What answer do you want other than "replace the GPU"?

What is going on with the GTX 750ti that makes you think it has failed?

Turn down the settings to the lowest possible and see if you can manage until you replace your gpu.

Have you tried reinstalling Nvidia's latest drivers from their site?

Normally when a gpu fails it will artifact just as soon as you try to boot your system. How good is the air flow in your case and is there a dust buildup on the gpu fan and cooling fins? I run air cooling myself these days but I'm also in a CM HAF 932 case with tons of positive air flow to keep things cool.
