Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card, but I'm a little lost when it comes to compatibility.

Computer model is ASUS CM1735 Series
Processor is an AMD A4-3420
Memory will be upgrades to 8GB
PSU is currently 300W, I'll be upgrading to whatever is needed for the graphics card.

I was looking at

for graphics and

for the PSU, but I'm just not sure if it'll be all right. Any thoughts or alternatives? If it helps, the game I'm most looking to be able to decently play is Ark Survival Evolved.

Thank you!

Officially, any modern video card is compatible with your motherboard and cpu. Of course your cpu is SO weak, you're likely to bottleneck even the lower-midrange video cards. What is your budget for upgrades? Maybe we can squeeze in a better cpu for you too.

That's what I was worried about. Thanks for both replies. I'm open to spending maybe up to 400 or so (with some wiggle room) on upgrades, including PSU, GPU and CPU. Or would it be more feasible to just look into a new computer at this point?

Here you go. Get these and you can grab a used A6 3650 or A6 3670k off of ebay for around $50, or an A8 3850 or A8 3870k for $60-70. Boom. Less than $200 and you would have completely transformed your system. If you're willing to spend $400, you would be better off completely overhauling your PC.
