[SOLVED] Graphics Card for old PC

I have an old computer (Dell Optiplex 380) an want to add a second screen for my security cameras. I need a PCIe graphics card that has no need for a power cable. I found this one: GeForce G210 PCI Express 512MB DDR2 Video Card HDMI, DVI & VGA Output PCIe PCI-e and wanted to know if it will work out for me. I don't play any games really, I just watch youtube, check my email, and serf the web. I now want to add the second screen to watch my security cameras on. I have an extra monitor that uses both VGA and DVI-D. Will this work?

Yes it will work, you could also look for a GT 710 which are usually very cheap used 10-20 USD.

If there is nothing else in that PCI-e slot then it shouldn't have any issue fitting. With it's age I hope you have no issues finding a driver. I suggest something newer, as above.

My computer manual showed suggestions and they were DDR2. Does that make a difference?

They are probably talking about System RAM. The GPU memory type is irrelevant.
