Graphics card help please. In the middle of building.

Ok so this is the second computer i built and I'm almost done. I just have maybe a dumb question but i honestly don't know. So my graphics card came with 2 8 pin connectors. Does this mean i have to send twice the power to the GPU or still only hook up 1 PCI-E.
