Solution

Not a problem, its what we're here for...
i have a asrock 960gm-gs3 fx motherboard with an amd fx-6100 six core processor 8 gigs of ram runing win 8.1 sorry it took so long for a reply have had a few internet issues my price range for a grapics card is 400-450$ usd max but something that would be in the 360-390$ range would be better.

my power supply is a delta electronics brand. model: DPS-400QB A says it has a 400w max and some of the games i will be useing it for are moded minecraft, borderlands 2 and runescape and more to come one steam like gta 5, garys mod, diablo 3
and maybe a few other also i need something that will give me good frames on minecraft while using fraps to record and as far as the resolution i play at what ever will work because my grapics card now it quite old( nvidia geforce 8400gs) and thanks guys for helping me out with this 😀 also if i were to need a new power supply could you guy suggest one for a fair price i cant give a price range because i don't know much about computer power supplys

You will require a new power supply for running a high end graphics card, at least 500w for what you want but it doesn't have to be very expensive as long as it is quality. My recommendation based on your needs is:

EVGA GTX 970 : http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-04gp42978kr

EVGA 600B : http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10600kr

400 bucks for both :)

Solution
exactly what i need thanks 😀 just one more question is it possabel to get a grapics card with vga outputs as well as hdmi or dvi? because my current monitor is vga and i really like it and dont wnat to have to buy a new screen for a while altho i eventual plan to for a dual monitor setup and anotherquestion if there isnt a 970 with a vga port is there any sort of adapter so i can use my monitor with it?

i did a little research after my father had told me that dvi is digital and vga is analogue and i also saw that the graphics card posted on the thread has a dvi-i and a dvi-d port and i don't know if this is correct or not but it says that dvi-d cant work with vga as its only digital but dvi-i can output both analogue and digital so would there be a setting or something to change the dvi-i port to output analogue?

The adapter will plug into both, simply use whichever output works. You can see yourself by comparing the connectors, Male DVI-D will plug into Female DVI-I, but not the other way around.

I used one of these adapters a couple years ago before I upgraded my monitors and I can't remember it having any issues with the VGA at all.
