Question Graphics card issues

Hey guys i've had this issue the past few days where my computer will freeze after running for awhile,but when rebooted nothing will show up on screen.

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Overclocked Video Card

My graphics card is definitely the oldest part of my computer and my computer runs fine when i run through the motherboards integrated card. Before I fully invest in a new GPU I wanted to check with the community that my diagnosis is probably correct. Thanks in advance

Sounds like a dead/dying card to me. You can pick up a used GTX 1050ti or even a GTX 960 which will provide slightly better performance then your 670 fairly cheap these days on the used/refurbished market.
